Project Start

We are pleased to announce the start of the DEVELOPMENT “DevElopment of a demand sensing and added ValuE assessment tooLkit using machine Learning and OPerations ManagEmeNT algorithms” project implementation. The project is implemented through the collaboration of DOTSOFT SA (Coordinator) and the Center for Research and Technology Hellas / Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT). The project is expected to be completed within 24 months and is co-financed by the Innovation Investments Initiative within the Central Macedonia OP and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The project aims to develop a dynamic forecasting platform for demand forecasting for products, as well as to quantify the added value in inventory management and routing expenses. The effectiveness of the DEVELOPMENT platform will be examined and evaluated in real-world scenarios by deploying the solution to chosen enterprises.  After completion, the final product will be offered to a variety of businesses, and for that reason the consortium will develop a business model for commercial exploitation and at the same time organize targeted actions to inform potential stakeholders about this new product, as well as actions to disseminate the project's outcomes through various communication channels.
